In a sociological perspective, this article is focus on the analysis of measuring immigrants integration through Italian statistical administrative system. Afterward focusing shortly on methodological and theoretical approach following in the essay (the sociology of public statistic), in the second paragraph it is analyzed the Italian public statistic system, the fundamental frame in order to develop an analytic framework to study the social and institutional process of measuring immigrants integration (the third paragraph). On this basis, the latest paragraphs show the finding of our analysis: after a promising beginning at the end of XX Century by the input of the Law “Turco-Napolitano”, the question has been put aside for a long time. Just in recent years, it has caught by European Union inputs. This process is not only a methodological sequence but the finding of a gradual political and national systemic overlook about the importance of integration in Italian Society.
