The Vesuvius National Park as a promoter of tourism development. - Aim of the work was to approach the study of the potential of offer tourism development of the Vesuvius National Park. The research was focused on the first part, the analysis of data related to tourist flows referring to the year 2016, taking into account, in particular, the total number of visitors, the nationality, the duration and the place of stay while the second part of the survey focused on the knowledge of the degree of customer satisfaction. To finalize the study were used questionnaires, in which, besides the mentioned information to the analysis of tourist flows, asked visitors to make a score between zero and five on some of the indicators of hospitality. These questionnaires are therefore an effective means to reconstruct a complete picture not only of the degree of satisfaction but also the efficiency of the tourist offer of the area Park. The search results are a useful starting point for reflection on the weaknesses of an area that for nature, symbolic power and cultural is part of the most beautiful in the world and that, given its high potential for development in tourism, could be the engine of growth also in the neighbouring areas.
