Proposal of agro-cultural routes in “Silicon Valley” Lombard. - The industrial decline that has also hit the Brianza, Lombardy, as a result of technological and geographical restructuring of capitalism, has led to a rediscovery also here of traditional local resources. as typical products of agriculture, landscape and other cultural heritage. The paper highlights the growth of annual event linked to typical agricultural products of Vimercate and its region, such as the potato of Orego and the pink asparagus of Mezzago, which attract an increasing number of visitors. These products are also the typical dishes of high quality which has grown, alongside agriculture, also thanks to the attraction of local events. These products are also the basis of a typical food of high quality, which has grown alongside agriculture also thanks to the attraction of local fairs and festivals. But a relevant factor of the success of these events, and then of the growth of related production activities, is also to be identified in the local landscape and cultural heritage , briefly described in the paper, which is an important integration to the attraction of potatoes , asparaguses and related typical courses.
