On July 10th, 1976, in Seveso happened a huge enviromental and humanaccident, that hit institutions hard in a delicate moment of Italian history. Someissues - as miscarriage and reclamation of the damaged area - threatened thethin politic balance, based on an agreement of "national solidarity" betweenDC and PCI. Seveso's accident has been both a first step in building a greenconscoiusness in Italy and a sign of the political dynamics of that period.
