The article criticizes prof. Bin's theory of the Italian Constitution as a document that does not embrace any precise model for the juridical organization of the national economy. It maintaines that the Constitution, on the contrary, stood originally for a clear model of a moderate "social" kind and ought to be interpreted today in a way favoring to the utmost the dynamic features of the economy; especially in view of the fact that Italy is exposed in the present phase of general economic unification of the world to the dangerous competition of the emerging new economic giants. There is no reasonable place for an outmoded struggle between assumed "haves" and "have-nots" within the nation; the real, challenging "have-nots" lie outside its borders.
