534This intervention aims to contribute to and analyse a recent literary, mediatic and sociocultural phenomenon, represented emblematically in Robert Saviano's book "Gomorra", both a kind of reportage on organised crime and a highly suggestive narrative with the appeal of a novel. A huge commercial success with an unexpected development in the crime reporting of the Italian press, the book also manifested the productive dynamics created by the internet to a degree previously unseen in Italy. A large part of the essay is dedicated to mapping-out the growing relationships between lit-blog and the publishing industry, and the ageing and marginalisation of print with respect to the internet's discussion forums.
