Anno: 2023 - Fascicolo: 3 - Pagina iniziale: 705 - Pagina finale: 752

Derek Prince, a scholar of Classics and Philosophy at Eton College and Cambridge University, converted to Christianity in 1941 and devoted his life to studying and teaching the Bible on six continents for more than sixty years. A critical examination of the available sources opens the research, which highlights some contents of his preaching and his role within the pentecostal and charismatic movements. The paper follows the times and places of Prince’s biography, which winds its way from Bangalore (where he was born in 1915) to Cambridge, from Yorkshire to North Africa, from Jerusalem to London, from Kenya to Canada and the United States, his base for teaching the Bible and preaching on all continents.
