In the XX century, the industrialization and the consumer society have made life more comfortable for the Western population, even the poorest; the consequence was an increase of pollution, as well as an increase in global pandemics. Contemporary constitutionalism tackled the environmental question late, when it faced the great ecological catastrophes of the XX century. The Constitutions of the second post-war have placed limits on economic production, but not of an environmental: only recently, through the “Climate Justiceµ, the course is reversing compared to the past
