In an International and European context increasingly focused to foodwaste and its related issues, Italy’s current situation is not entirely negative.As evidenced by Waste Watcher 2020 Report, the attention towardsfood waste, main consumer behaviors and effects on personal and environmentalhealth is constantly scaling up. The survey shows that it iscurrently defining our perception of the connection between apparentlydistant issues such as food waste and consumption, personal health andenvironment. In the next surveys it will be interesting to understand ifthis trend is steady. Meanwhile, it is important to record that for the first time in the years of Waster Watcher monitoring there is a change ofdirection.
