The paper aims at analyzing the upshots of the kantian doctrine of space – as it is proposed inthe Transcendental Aesthetic of the first Critique – together with some clinical and experimental evidence elaborated in the neuro-scientific field about the cognition and perception processes of extra-corporal space. Specifically, the “representational model” of interpretation of the Unilateral Neglect – a clinical disturbance that shows itself with a deficit of the perception of extra-corporal space – leads to theoretical considerations somehow consistent with the kantianstatement of the transcendental ideality of space
