The Author explains the statistical results of a research about the legislative process in the region Lazio from 1980 up to 1985. The study puts in evidence the number of bills proposed and passed; the characteristics of the approving process; the attitude of different political parties; the role of Government. The article is furnished with an appendix concerning the regional bills about environmental matters in Lazio and another appendix containing a classification of the legislative activity in different sectors in the same region
