The observation of some recent cases concerning the victims of the socalled "enterprises crimes" - such as the ThyssenKrupp and the Eternitones in Turin, or the one occurred at ILVA establishment in Taranto - givesthe opportunity to formulate some wider remarks in order the necessity toadopt a clear sociological point of view looking at origins and consequencesof victimization processes. It means to promote a sociological attention forall those factors at the ground of victimization that roots in society, makingnot only some social actors more fragile to different forms of crimes andiniquity but also much more difficult to be recognized by social contextand institutions in their condition. Nowadays we need a sociology "for"the victims, it means able to put concrete attention to their suffering and topromote effective actions to respond to their violated rights and needs in allcontexts.
