The author describes the international collective bargaining, pursuing the aim to reduce differences among workers' rights in a globalized economic-social context, a phenomen which increased in the last years. Trade unions and employers as actors of international collective bargaining are described. But the core of the article consists in a research about the nature of international agreements and their connection to a legal system: elements as localisation of working-relations, enterprise's social seat and each partie's ability to contract make the qualificaton of these agreements difficult, and their effecitiveness very often is due to national legal support. Altough the stressed doubts, the Author sees in the international collective bargaining an important legal resource for workers and international trade unions.
