The paper examines the evolution of the legal legislation on the female work in the light of the constitutional principles. In particular the essay emphasises the contribution of the Constitutional jurisprudence and the most recent law about the relationship between the maternity-protection, the family care and the "right to work". With regard to the matter the paper analyses whether the current legal system share some peculiar features of the "citizenship". Lastly the article examines new models dealing with the relationship between "productive" and " reproductive" labour.
