Title: Localized Appropriability: Pecuniary Externalities in Knowledge Exploitation.
Abstract:Pecuniary externalities are crucial in shaping the distinctive competences and the economic success of 
innovative firms. The analysis of conditions for localized appropriation associated to the intensive use of 
idiosyncratic factors by means of the introduction of biased technological change provides a new understanding 
about knowledge appropriability and stresses the key role of external factors in the exploitation of technological knowledge.
