Title: Switching Behavior and the Liberalization of the Italian Electricity Retail Market. Logistic and Mixed Effect Bayesian Estimations of Consumer Choice.
Abstract: The paper assesses the effects of the liberalization of the Italian electricity retail market by providing the 
first account of the determinants of switching by Italian households. It covers the interplay between demand and supply by
including market concentration and horizontal integration among the factors that drive the choice of consumers. 
Finally, it inaugurates the application of Bayesian estimations in this topic area and presents a new dataset.
