Title: Unemployment Today in the light of Malinvaud’s theory
Abstract: An important contribution by Malinvaud presents a theory of unemploment not sufficiently considered by 
modern macroeconomics. This paper employs his theory to explain some features of contemporary unemployment with 
special reference to Italy. Empirical evidence appears to be in line with the theory.
