This paper presents normative data for three tests assessing working memory, i.e. the Paced Auditory Serial Addition Task (PASAT; Gronwall e Wrightson, 1974) and two new tests, the "Words Task" and the "Months Task", which we developed as alternative forms of the PASAT. Each test has been administered, at 5 different rates of presentation, to a sample of normal subjects, whose age ranged from 14 to 76 years. From the General Linear Model emerged that the level of performance (mean number of errors across the 5 trials) depended both on the age and on the level of education of subjects, whereas no significant gender effect was found. The confidence intervals were computed on the scores. We propose that patients with scores at or above the superior limit (cut-off) are likely to be affected by a working memory deficit.Il lavoro presenta i valori normativi per tre test di memoria di lavoro, i.e. il "Paced Auditory Serial Addition Task" (PASAT; Gronwall e Wrightson, 1974) e due versioni alternative di questo test da noi introdotte, il "Test delle Parole" ed il "Test dei Mesi". Ognuno dei tre test è stato somministrato, a 5 diverse velocità di presentazione, ad un campione di soggetti normali di età compresa fra i 14 ed i 76 anni. Dal Modello Lineare Generale è emerso che il punteggio (media degli errori sulle 5 somministrazioni) nei tre test è influenzato dall'età e dalla scolarità dei soggetti, ma non dal loro sesso. Sui punteggi ottenuti nei tre test sono stati dunque identificati i limiti di confidenza. Gli autori propongono di considerare affetti da disturbo della memoria di lavoro i soggetti con punteggio al livello o al di sopra del limite superiore.
